Use cases

AI tools for teachers that produce evidence, not extra grading

Six situations where the evidence card is the thing that was missing. Each one names who runs it, what comes out and what it replaces.

01 Six use cases

Where AI for educators stops being a demo

The common thread: in each one, somebody currently reconstructs by hand what the student was thinking, from a mark on a page. That reconstruction is the work Coeducate removes.

01

Math intervention block

Intervention teacher, 20 minutes, six students

A pull-out group is short, and most of it is spent working out why each student got it wrong. Cards from the previous session arrive already grouped by misconception, so the block starts with the group already formed and the activity already chosen.

Replaces: re-grading the same six papers to find the pattern.

02

Reading comprehension diagnosis

ELA teacher or reading specialist

A wrong answer on a comprehension question can be decoding, vocabulary or inference, and the mark looks identical in all three cases. Coeducate separates them and says which one failed, with the student sentence that shows it.

Replaces: a running record plus a guess.

03

Homework and independent practice

Any subject teacher, work done at home

Students already have AI at home. The choice is between help that hands over the answer and help that asks the next question. Socratic mode plus an evidence card means homework produces information about the student instead of destroying it.

Replaces: guessing which submissions were genuinely the student.

04

Tutoring company progress reports

Head of Academics, 40 tutors, parent-facing

Parents pay for outcomes and receive a session summary written by a tired tutor at 9pm. Per-skill mastery across sessions one to eight is the artifact that justifies the hourly rate, and it is produced automatically.

Replaces: freeform session notes of wildly varying quality.

05

MTSS and intervention documentation

MTSS lead, Title I elementary

A tiered support decision needs per-skill documentation over time. Producing it usually means adding an assessment window nobody has room for. Here the documentation is a by-product of the tutoring that was already happening.

Replaces: an extra benchmark window and a spreadsheet.

06

Substitute coverage and TA support

Substitute teacher or teaching assistant

A substitute cannot diagnose 30 students in a subject they do not teach, and a TA supporting a small group needs to know what each student is actually stuck on. The card gives both a specific target and a script for the next move.

Replaces: a worksheet and a lost period.

02 Who it is not for

Three situations where we would tell you not to buy

  • You want an answer engine. If the goal is faster completion of homework, a general chat product does that today and costs less. Coeducate is deliberately slower at producing answers.
  • You need a full curriculum. We do not supply content. If you have no material of your own, an adaptive courseware product with its own scope and sequence is the right purchase.
  • You need a completed third-party audit today. If your process requires an existing SOC 2 report or a signed state data protection agreement before a pilot, we do not have those yet and say so plainly.

03 For the person who signs off

Two things a curriculum director asks first

Evidence you can present

Per-skill mastery per student, exportable, with the student's own reasoning attached. It survives a board slide and an MTSS meeting because the wording came from the student, not from a summary.

A privacy posture built for minors

Student work is not used to train models. No advertising, no data resale, deletable on request. Designed around FERPA and COPPA obligations, and our security page states plainly which formal attestations we do and do not hold.

Rollout, procurement and the full sign-off checklist are on the pricing page, alongside the cost-per-student estimator.

04 Pricing

Priced per program, not per seat

Annual billing is about 17% lower. There is no free tier, and the privacy posture is identical on every plan.
