Achieve3000 cost and Achieve3000 price per student for a school in 2026

Achieve3000 prints no school price. Two signed quotes in public board packets show the site fee, the per-seat rate, the setup fee and a 45 percent discount.

Short answer: Achieve3000 Literacy is sold by quote as a site fee plus per-student seats. On a signed 2021 quote from an Oakland charter school, the site license was $13,225 for up to 375 students, each student beyond that cost $42, and a $290 setup fee was waived, so 475 students cost $17,425 a year, about $36.68 per student. The Actively Learn bundle on a Utah quote listed at $40,080 for 1,000 students and closed at $21,974.20 after a discount.

Achieve3000 does not print a price list for schools. Every route ends in a quote request. The numbers exist because charter schools attach their signed quotes to public board packets, and we read two of them in full: quote Q-65556 for East Bay Innovation Academy and quote Q-70315 for Mountain Heights Academy. Two quotes are not a market survey, and both are several years old, so treat the structure as the useful part and the dollar amounts as a floor for what to ask about. Coeducate is not affiliated with Achieve3000, and the name is a trademark of its owner. We sell a different product, and the last section says where Achieve3000 is the better buy.

How much does Achieve3000 cost per student

Source What was quoted Price

Same quoteAnnual site setup fee for rostering, integrations and support$290, discounted to $0
Same quoteOrder total for 475 students$17,425, about $36.68 per student
Mountain Heights Academy, UT, quote Q-70315 (dated December 2021, contract 2022 to 2023)Actively Learn ELA, Science, Social Studies and unlimited texts for 1,000 students, two virtual training sessions$40,080 list, $18,105.80 discount, $21,974.20 total

The first row to understand is the site license. Up to 375 students for $13,225 is $35.27 per student if the building fills every seat, and more if it does not. A school with 200 students pays the same $13,225, which is $66.13 per student. The $42 per-seat price only starts above the cap, and it is higher than the average inside the cap, so the first 375 seats are the cheap ones.

What a school pays for Achieve3000 Literacy in total

Using the East Bay structure as the only published line items, here is what different enrollments would cost before any discount. This is our arithmetic on a 2021 quote, not a current price.

StudentsCalculationAnnual costPer student
200Site license only$13,225$66.13
375Site license at the cap$13,225$35.27
475Site license plus 100 seats (the East Bay order, setup waived)$17,425$36.68
800Site license plus 425 seats at $42, plus $290 setup$31,365$39.21

Two things stand out. The setup fee is per school per year, so a district with six buildings carries six of them, and East Bay shows it can be negotiated away. And the site license is per site, so a district cannot pool seats across buildings to stay under the cap.

What the Utah quote shows about discounts

Mountain Heights bought a different product, the Actively Learn reading platform that Achieve3000 owns, so its price is not an Achieve3000 Literacy price. It is still the clearest view of how list price and signed price diverge. The quote listed $40,080 for 1,000 students, which is $40.08 per student, and subtracted a line labeled "Discount, 2022" of $18,105.80. The school paid $21,974.20, or $21.97 per student, a 45 percent reduction. That is one data point from one school in one year, but it is a good reason never to accept the first number on a quote.

Questions to ask before you sign an Achieve3000 quote

  • Does the site license price assume every seat is used, and what happens to unused seats at renewal?
  • Is the setup fee charged per building every year, and can it be waived for a multi-year term?
  • What is the per-student price above the cap, and does it change if you add students mid-year?
  • Does a three-year term lock the price, and what is the cap on the renewal increase after it?
  • Which products are in the total? Literacy, Actively Learn and the math product are priced as separate lines.
  • What professional learning is included, and is anything beyond the first sessions billed per session?

Where Achieve3000 is the better buy, and where Coeducate fits

If you want a leveled-text platform that gives every student in grades 2 to 12 a differentiated nonfiction article and a comprehension check, and a district-wide contract with training, Achieve3000 is built for that. Coeducate does not supply leveled articles and does not replace a core literacy program.

The gap shows up when a student reads the article and still misses the inference question. A score says the student missed it. It does not say whether they could not locate the evidence or misread what the question asked. In Coeducate the student types the answer, the tutor questions the reasoning without giving the answer away, and the teacher gets a card that names the failed skill in the student's own words. Schools run it next to a literacy platform in the intervention block, which is described on our reading comprehension intervention programs page. When the flagged students then have to be split among interventionists, a tool such as routing each student to the right person on the intervention team keeps the caseloads even. For a literacy-platform renewal compared line by line, our Lexia Core5 cost per student article shows the same structure for a competing product.

Coeducate's price is public on the pricing page: $2,088 a year for a school of up to 600 students, which is about $4.40 per student at 475 students, and $7,740 a year for a district with purchase order billing. Try the Mastery Check above with a passage question your students keep missing.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Achieve3000 cost per student?

On a signed 2021 quote, Achieve3000 Literacy was $13,225 for a site of up to 375 students and $42 for each student beyond that. A 475-student school paid $17,425 a year in total, about $36.68 per student. The price is not published and varies by school size and negotiation.

Does Achieve3000 publish its pricing?

No. Achieve3000 sells to schools by custom quote, and the quote lists products, a site fee and per-student seats. The figures in this article come from quotes that two charter schools attached to public board meeting packets.

Is there a setup fee for Achieve3000?

Both quotes included a $290 annual site setup fee per school covering rostering, integrations and support. The East Bay quote then discounted it by $290, so it can be negotiated. Ask whether it recurs every year.

Is Achieve3000 the same as Actively Learn?

Achieve3000 owns Actively Learn, and the Utah quote bundled Actively Learn plans on Achieve3000 paper. They are priced as separate lines. Actively Learn is a digital curriculum for grades 3 to 12, while Achieve3000 Literacy is the differentiated literacy platform for grades 2 to 12.
